I am very excited about starting this school year! This is the first time I will be using a blog for my classroom. My hope is to use this as an another tool of communication. I look forward to updating you about what is happening in our class.
I thought I would include in my first post a little bit about myself. This is my eleventh year of teaching and seventh year of teaching fourth grade at Esther Jackson. I grew up in Virginia, but I have lived in Georgia for eight years. I graduated from Roanoke College and earned my Masters from North Georgia College and State University. I have a husband and an almost two year old. To add to the chaos I have two cats and two dogs.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child. Stay tuned for the date and time of Curriculum Night.
